Presenting at 12th Workshop on Lithium-sulfur batteries in Dresden

Pentalys Energy attended the 12th workshop Lithium-Sulfur batteries in Dresden in November, where the co-founder Prof. Lily Deng presented an overview of the team's approach to polysulfide management and described the current research efforts. The annual event brings together battery researchers, manufacturers, and investors from across Europe and beyond.

The presentation, titled "Enabling Nano-architectured Thin Films to Enhance Lithium-sulfur Battery Performance," drew a strong audience from research and business within the battery industry, as well as automotive and other sectors. Delegates expressed surprise at the strong achieved performance and followed up with detailed questions about manufacturing scalability, and the company's plans to commercialize these findings.

The Pentalys team was also approached by several potential partners and customers for the road ahead, including specialist manufacturers and large industrial companies with strong upscaling experience. Discussions are ongoing, and the company hopes to announce formal collaboration agreements in the first half of 2026.
